USE

Protexil® TECH is a cool material: highly innovative paint for exteriors, anti-moulds and anti-algae formula, composed of a special silane resin, glass microspheres and special additives which determine the product’s high thermal reflecting properties, water repellency, vapour permeability and very low dirt pick up. The solar reflectance properties significantly decrease the wall temperature during warmer seasons and therefore the quantity of heat which is transferred on the inside, thus enhancing the quality of life of the residents of the building and decreasing the energy consumption by saving in air conditioning and cooling.

Ideal for protective painting and restoration of exterior walls, both on modern and historical buildings and monuments and in all area where the substrate is constantly exposed to atmospheric agents and high humidity. It can be applied on: dehumidifying plasters, cement or lime-based plasters and mortar, surfaces smoothed with INTOCEM RASANTE or INTOCALCE, silicate or lime-based old paints or renders, old synthetic resin emulsion paints if sufficiently absorbent and adherent to the substrate. Suitable also for painting old thermal insulation systems (ETICS).
